I was asked to review the Amarya Beauty Box for Mummy News from www.amarya.co.uk & was instantly impressed when the lush presentation box arrived on my doorstep. It was like christmas came early!
Contents include a full size Weleda Pomegranate Body Oil, Trial Size Bodhi Moisturiser, REN Face Care Sample, a Santaverde Moisturiser Sample, an Amarya Eco Shopping Bag, full instructions, a write up of the products included, ingredients and a voucher for 15% off any of the products included in the box!
RRP for the beauty box is £20.00 but if purchased individually, the Body Oil alone is £19.95 so it's well worth signing up for the monthly box. The monthly subscription would also be an ideal present for any woman out there!
I'll start with the Weleda Pomegranate Body Oil.
Being nearly 26 weeks pregnant I was keen to try a product that helped with potential stretch marks & tight belly skin! The antioxidant-rich, organic pomegranite seed oil certainly smells divine. A bit like christmas...and advertised skin renewal from regular use. After using the product for a week I noticed a significant improvement in the suppleness of my belly! Result!! Certainly a good alternative, especially price wise, to Bio-Oil & the bottle is much stronger (& prettier).
I've not been able to test the Bodhi Rosemary Chi Body Moisturiser as yet, I'll need to get one of my non-pregnant friends to try it for me due to the high ratio of essential oils but it certainly smells nice.
The REN Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream is also a lovely trial size item. Within a couple of days my drab, dry face had been restored to its normal healthy hydrated condition. Even my midwife commented that my complexion had improved! YAY
Lastly the Santaverde Moisturiser Sample.
It is advertised as a 'Rich day and night care for dry, sensitive and mature skin' so I was a bit hesitant that using it would show any dramatic effect. Seeing as I'm only 30....but it's light texture & combination of aloe vera, argan nuts & evening primrose does help area's such as elbows, knees & feet for me. Maybe once I've had baby my skin will change again, in that case I'd probably try it on my belly after the Pomegranate Oil absorbs.
All in all the Amarya Beauty Box comes highly recommended from me & bump, we've enjoyed trying the products. I would say that all skin types would love it! Now to try to hint towards my better half for a yearly subscription.

High Praise for Marie at Fitmama
WOW Feeling fabulous here right now. My Fitmama Classes are just so much FUN!
I really can't regard the class any higher, I've been telling every man & his dog...ok, maybe not his dog but his wife & their pregnant neighbours! :D
So far I've done 4 classes & can hear Marie's words running around my head with every exercise, or whenever I do get a spare 5 minutes to sit & practise my breathing or pelvic excercises! I love the way I get to have a good natter with ladies at all stages of their pregnancy before & after the class.
After 2 weeks I even managed to pursuade a friend to join up & come along with me!
So, the next time I don't want to move my lardy arse off the comfort of my sofa I'll remember this feeling :)
If you're interested, check out the website or give Marie a call. She's lovely.
Night all,
Becky & Flump
